Members of St. Matthew voted 71 to 1 to disjoin the ELCA and join the Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ on January 30, 2011. We have now been accepted into the LCMC and are the first Lutheran church in Washington County to leave the ELCA. |
We applied and now have been accepted in the Texas District of the LCMC. |

On May 22, we celebrated the Confirmation & graduation of several members. We also welcomed in 15 new members. |
Pastor Lisa was also ordained into the LCMC on May 22 by a special service of the congregation. |
